(And that someone takes away the Walthers book before things get out of hand.) I'm hoping that I can substitute flex for some of the sectional track because some of the tolerances/clearances aren't working completely confined to sectional track curvatures. And the rest of the story goes downhill from there. The people I'm helping have a lot of sectional track already and to help with the rehab program for him, they ordered kits from a Walthers book and he's been building them for his (non-existent) road and the road has to now incorporate them into the design. But it's a layout for someone now in a wheelchair (as part of his quality-of-life rehab program) it's not based on any prototypical road, it uses pieces of various plans he found in one of the Kalmbach books, has some unusual (at least to me) space/physical concerns: beyond a 9x8 ft space limit, it's limited on reach and height above floor for a wheelchair user, as well as they want it to be 'tiltable (hah !!)' so he can work on scenery. If I was building my own road (again) and had lots of time, maybe.
